Flipbook Assignment: "A Day in the Life"

My flipbook followed a single person on their daily running journey. The title was "A Day in the Life". We watch the subject pass flowers and trees, go through caves, fall down, climb mountains, and more. After the character falls, we read the words, "one step at a time". The end of the flipbook states, "just another day in the life".

  5. My favorite part of this flip book was the character waking up and getting out of bed. It was pretty detailed and showed good motion. I also loved the moving text at the end. I tried to do text in my book and it looked horrible, so nice work and getting it to look good.

  9. I liked your use of lines, I'm such a wierdo with thick lines, I believe if used right they help the story line be pushed to a whole another boundary versus tons and tons of detail. Although it's simple and has no color, the text in the book you used create the color and it forces the viewer to put in their own colors if wanted. You left the spectrum wide open for the viewers to dictate the details incase they feel the imagery is plain that re-enacts the reason for books in the first place, even if it's animated piece of a book and etc. It's hard for animations to do that so nice job.
