Gooood Morning

Well I'm actually getting ready for class right now. I absolutely LOVED the operas we watched last class period. They were so romantic and beautiful (and I'm a sucker for both)! I've watched bits and pieces of some of them before, but with much less background information. So far, I am really enjoying this class, as well as the pace at which we are moving.

First Class

I really enjoyed our first class! The operas we watched were very interesting, and I hope to eventually see Cinderella in full during my lifetime; the little bit of it that I did see was beautiful. Also, I've never learned about the Baroque era in such depth. While I have studied the era in my Compositions of Music class at another college, I namely learned about the music and composers of the time. To study the way the people dressed, behaved, decorated, and ultimately lived was very interesteding to me. I look forward to our next class!

My First Blog

Well, I'm not too sure what I'm doing here, but I guess I'll tell you a little bit about myself! I'm a Communications major with a minor in Art, and I am very excited about our Art and Technology class! Some of my favorite activities include running, painting, public speaking, and writing. In regard to employment, I work for an Italian restaurant in Ybor called Roma, on campus for Kelly Polk, and for the Minaret as a commentary writer. I'm not entirely sure where my major and opportunities will take me, but I would ideally love to be an ESPN reporter. I'd say that's me in a nutshell!
